With a dream of one day surfing better than his heroes Mick Fanning, Andy Irons and cousin Joel Parkinson, Mitchell loves getting his fair share of the action out at Snapper and D-Bah, or ducking down the coast to Fingal and beyond. And does Joel help him catch waves when he’s out at the Superbank? “Nah he drops in on me,” Mitty reckons, “but I’ll get him back one day!” And don’t listen to the kid when he writes himself off as a pooman, he rips and loves nothing better than standing tall in an over head (two foot) barrel behind the rock at Snapper!
