I was born in Sydney at the Royal North Shore Hospital on the 21st of October, 1991. I moved to Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast when I was around 5 months old.not really sure what happened in between 5 months and 5 years, then I found skateboarding.
After a couple of years on the board, I started to enter in any comp I could get to, whether it was local or interstate. This had me going all over South East Queensland, Northern NSW, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, this was a really fun time for such a young kid.
In 2004, when I was 11, I came 2nd in the QLD qualifiers for the Australian titles. I qualified 4th into the final and ended up coming 8th over all, pretty exciting to compete in front of such a big crowd at the Rod Laver Arena.
It was hard to imagine that things would get better than that, but then at the age of 13, I made my first solo O.S trip. I visited Ali Cairns in England and stayed at WOODWARD skate camp in the U.S. I enjoyed travelling so much that I have been on a heap more trips since. I have visited places such as Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, England, America, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Denmark.
I don't really prefer skating street or vert, I find that doing a bit of everything keeps you really well rounded and opens so many more doors when it comes to finding people to skate with. I've skated with some of my biggest idols including Bucky Lasek, Colin McKay, Bob Burnquist, Rune Glifberg and heaps more.
Besides eat, sleep and school skating is about all I do, if I cant skate I go stir crazy. Were really lucky were we live cause our skate park is right on the beach so in summer we go from skate park to beach when it gets hot. The vert ramp is on a property where we ride motorbikes between skates. also throw down a few games of pool. I have a big 12 foot round trampoline that we love mucking around on, I have a mini ramp in the backyard but that needs a face lift.life's pretty good in Coolum.
My aim is to keep skating as long and hard as I can. I'm pretty stoked with the opportunities I've had so far, hopefully if I work hard enough I will be able to make a living out of it and keep travelling.
