Sterling Spencer - Inside the mind of a delicate genius.
Another clip of Sterls came across my computer desktop this week...

Sterling is an intricate character. He constantly places high demands during photo shoots for organic fruit, personal masseuse, personal stylist and a little monkey complete with vest, hat and drum.

Here is look inside the mind of a delicate genius.

so john, if you say kids should stay at home and leave the waters to the pros your're shutting out every single kid that wants to get out there and go big or try new [no swearing please]. what the hell? i never knew surfing was all about shutting other people down.

Some comments have been deleted. Your conversation is going round and round in circles and achieving nothing. We don't mind that people have an opinion, but vilifying others is not apart of our program.

I have not been to Califronia yet; however, I have been up and down the East Coast, and Joey, People don't act this way everywhere. I am truely sorry you have to act that way to get all the waves. I know you are a talented surfing, you should really consider how you treat others and your good time at others expense.

I love to surf! It is a miserable experience however when you go to Pensacola Beach to try and have fun and you encounter people who are greedy and just wanting to sell something out in the water or think they own what is technically a "common ground"! I have concluded that surfing with many of the long time locals in Pensacola is not an enjoyable experience. Many Pensacola Locals are not friendly people. Joey Dillard told me once that that is how people are in California.

I came to this conclusions when I surfed down at Sabastian Inlet. I was the only guy out on a longboard and pulling into barrels. The groms around me accepted me freely and thought I was a pro that had flown in for a session or something. I realized I was pretty good at the sport and the locals in my area were just not a very friendly group of people. I am sorry that you guys are not very accepting of people who may be slightly different then you.

That goes for Joey Dillard, that Dentist guy, longboard bob, and all the Innerlight followers who go out in the water and treat people badly so they will stay out of their way. Boy! Treating others around you poorly and using intimadation so you will get all the waves surely is Christianity at its best isn't it. I have never seen such Christian behavior in my life.
Corey said (4 years ago)
If treating Christians in the water bad is a way of demonstrating your "Innerlight", than I will pray for you!

Doesn't count. Two legs at a time will win every time. Undisputed

stirling said (4 years ago)
Can you put your pants on two legs at a time John? I would think not.

You're cannot learn that... It's innate.

It's amazing that a "fag" from Pensacola can actually make a name for himself in the surf world, yet no one has ever heard of a crotchety old [no swearing please] named John from Okaloosa. You should just try to enjoy your last few years of surfing, old man.
Pockets said (4 years ago)
He is the only Pro out of the whole Gulf of Mexico other than Cory and Shea Lopez to make a name for himself nationally and internationally. That speaks volumes considering the lack of waves and consistency the Gulf has. Give the guy some props and support him. If you have ever seen any of his interviews or vids he always says he's from the Gulf and defends it for you guys back home. He is proving that he can surf with the best of them worldwide even though he is from the Gulf. Support Sterling!

Hey John, glad to see you learned how to spell "from" the second time around when you decided to make some lame comments.
dane said (4 years ago)
I'm from melbourne and your cut off jean shorts that you surf in are to tight cutting off the circulation to your brain and your little penis
John from Okaloosa said (4 years ago)
Hey dane, I have been surfing for over 30 years, and I promise my opinion matters. We think of you P'cola fags as bad as the rednecks from Alabama. I wish you all would just stay at home and leave the waters to the real surfers around here.
